My doctor doesn't think I have anemia.
My recent blood tests for gestational diabetes would have shown this, she says.
She thinks I have a virus.
I think I'd rather have anemia than a virus. Being sick (getting fever) and pregnant
scares the shit out of me.
Does anyone have the experience of having anemia undetected by the OB?
I'm home, and feel weak and worn.

If its any consolation (and it probably isn't, but here goes) I felt like total crapola for the last few weeks of my pregnancy. Half-sick, totally depleted. Tired just isn't the right word for it. I think you underestimate, or take for granted, the incredible amounts of energy you expend.
Think of the "normal" job: sitting at a desk, or standing behind a register. Your job is nothing like that. Several times over the last few months I have marveled at you as you roam through the backyard and chase after the little ones. That's tough work, lady. And add to that your last post about scrubbing your house with a toothbrush--well, is it that far off to assume you might be totally and completely crapped out??
I ate nothing but bagels with peanut butter and ice cream sandwiches for the last few weeks. I'm sure the little one is perfectly fine. YOU are a super trooper and need some serious rest.
Okay, enough nagging. Feel better.
